Ive used/ & can currently use the wacom for everything that a mouse does, and even better, more precision.... Overall, i like the tablet its sick as hell, its connected through usb ports... simple as hell to install, theres a properties section, to adjust everything on your shit, it can flip the table to work on sequence boards etc.... its sensitivity the pen pressure anything you could think of, it does, its just dope, theres also pens, that have like 2gb or some shit like that for on the go shit, extra memory, it helps if you know what your doing and put it to use... its sick as hell, id definitely recommend a 'wacom' for anyone to grab one, at your earliest convenience.

Exactly... The Intuos3 IS a Wacom... Wacom is the company and Intuos3 is the model for professional users.

They also have a Graphire model for the casual user, but the pen is not as sensitive as the Intuos one, and less options... But cheaper.


I serached Ebay and Amazon, and that was the cheapest NEW one from a company. I have this thing about buying used stuff from private people... And I don't trust Ebay all that much... I should have shopped around longer, but I didn't feel like waiting anymore... lol

If feels a little awkard right now, but the things I can see possible with it are really worth the money I spent. The pressure sensitivity is the bomb.

It would have taken me forever to do that with a mouse.

It's just like drawing with a pen, but the awkard things is, you're not actually drawing on to the artwork... You draw on the tablet but look at the work on the screen... I think you get used to it though.

So it's just a hardware device with a pad and a pen and some keys for shortcuts.

But alot of graphics programs are designed with it in mind.
