Jordan was a man with a absolutely terrible past.
He had been the last of ten children, all of them stranded
by their mother, the oldest of them was eleven.
Eventually the children were picked up by the authorities.
Her final words to Jordan were “God bless,”
so in the orphanage Jordan always kept that to heart,
and soon enough became very religious
As time fast forwards he became a well liked man
and a good with the ladies.
But soon enough he began drifting unto the wrong path.
One night he got shot, and had to drag his
own bloody body down to the Metropolitan hospital
That night he died, but before he did he had a dream ---
he dreamed he was walking along the beach with the Almighty
and across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene he noticed two sets of footprints,
one belonged to him and the other to the Lord.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him,
he looked back at the footprints in the sand.
he noticed that many times along the path of his life,
there was only one set of footprints.
he also noticed that it happened at the very lowest
and saddest times in his life.
This really bothered him and he questioned the Lord about it.
"Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you,
you would walk with me all the way,
but I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life
there is only one set of footprints.
"I don't understand why in times when I needed you most,
you should leave me."
The Lord replied, "My precious, precious child,
I love you and I would never, never leave you
during your times of trial and suffering.
"When you saw only one set of footprints,
it was then that I carried you."

this was nice and deep, I've read footprints and I loved it, so I really enjoyed reading this. You're not bad, you just need a little elevation, but you actually did pretty good on this, good drop. Keep writing bro. Go reply to Gods Message.

i loved this...it goes really well to me (the footprints in the sand is my favorite jesus story) ...... wondeful emotions, and this was worded almost perfectly being in that its wraps right around the original story....the imagery in this was perfect.....

You wrote very well relating to footprints in the sand. It portrayed deep emotion which is very good. Work on the flow of it though and your transitions leading into the next line. Nice drop though. You will elevate as you write more.
