Intro

You know what, despite some minor setbacks (cough voting cough) this was actually a pretty dope week. A lot of the battles were super close and that Champ match was fucking dope tbh. Ya'll are sleeping on that for real! Congrats to Phalanx for being the first Champ of the season. Lets see some more dope battles. And one last thing.. if voting is slow as fuck like it has been we're gonna be switching to hidden votes. I've always been a fan of hidden votes anyway but they wouldn't be necessary if yall just voted instead of being goddamn pussies


Week 5 Battle Reviews

Champ Match: Phalanx vs Ryno

This was actually a fire fucking battle and it was refreshing to see tbh. I hated voting that shit cause I would have felt bad either way. Very close and very nice battle so props to both you guys. Sucks we lost Ryno but hopefully he'll be back for playoffs. Congrats Phal

Contenders Match: Cody Nash vs Fresh

Well I thought I beat him but you guys thought differently and without democracy our society as we know it could crumble. Congrats on moving to champ match Cody!

Joe Boston vs JEM.

Was surprised Joe Boston had some decent punches lol JEM. actually didn't too bad and although he didn't have many quotables most were saying he had LOTB so I know he's capable of jammin some heaters in his verses. Joe Boston ended up taking the sweep here

Kill Spree vs Diso

This was a decent battle nothing crazy happened but both of em had some nice punches. some said Kill Spree had LOTB but I think most agreed Diso had the consistency. Another battle I hated voting on because it was close but Diso punched Kill Sprees face in with a 4-2 victory

malediction vs Justice Grimm

You know as much as I shit on malediction and as bad as his last verse was I'm pretty sure I'm seeing improvement (just don't look at his 1-2 punch). For real though that on the rocks concept could have been dope if you worded it properly. But you don't seem like you want help so i guess you'll get better at your own pace. Justice Grimm shows again that he can do what is needed to be done to move on. I'm interested to see what JC pulls up with when he faces an actual good opponent. Guess we'll find out this week!

Orc vs Mimic

Orc wasn't happy so he didn't show. you had a pretty decent verse mimic. still no haymakers but im sure there's some in the making.

slecht vs Knoxville.

Well slecht is out for the season now so congrats everybody else. Knoxville. you had an ok verse nothing crazy but they were wasted lines anyway.

Week 6 Battle Previews

Week 6 Champ Match: Phalanx (5-0) vs Cody Nash (4-0)

Well Cody Nash beat me so he's capable of beating anyone. For real though I think this is going to be a good battle but I've got Phalanx having a pretty good edge on this one. I'm gonna give it in favour of Phalanx 65-35

Week 6 Contenders Match: Justice Grimm (3-2) vs Mimic (3-1)

Looking forward to this one tbh. Mimic has been slowly upping his game each battle and Justice has been dropping some nice punches but I think both of these guys are right at the point where they're going to jump up out the shadows and strike! I'm gonna have to go ahead and call this one... 50-50

Week 6 (3 Way): Joe Boston (1-1) vs Smog (1-1) vs Knoxville. (1-1)

Knoxville. could very well get the no show win since both his opponents are very capable of no showing. I'm not gonna factor that into my prediction though. I think Knoxville. hasnt been challenged this season so he may be ready to drop some heavy hitters but Smog is alway a threat. Joe Boston will depend on what happens in the news lol. I'm gonna call this one in favour of smog 60-20-20.

Week 6: Diso (2-0) vs Fresh (3-2)

Good luck sir. I'm not going to take it easy on you.

Week 6: Kill Spree (1-2) vs malediction (2-3)

This one is easy to call because malediction isn't as good as Kill Spree and that's a huge statement. I'm gonna go... 95-5 in favour of kill spree

Week 6: Slayerr. (0-0) vs JEM. (0-3)

If JEM. comes with more of his heavy hitters this could be a hard one for Slayerr. to take. I feel Slayerr. will have some rust to shake and JEM. is right at the point where his rust is shook off so although this one will be close I'm gonna say 55-45 in favour of JEM.
