    Re: Nicasso vs Professer Frost

    Language of the lost

Before, The Land and Sea, became to be…
There was Fire & Death…Pain and Peace
No Sun, to shine onto unknown lands, yet…
No life. Hence, no prophecies of man’s death

    In A Nightmare Like State;

    It was,
Scorchin. The sky screaming, beyond the path…A fortress was breathing'…
Torture of the land, forming'. The seasons, gazed upon the orchids of Eden
The world of yet, is morbid, deceiving, yet peace reigned in the setting'…
Beliefs changed with the present evidence of seeds painting the heavens…
Rain, tainted the resin, as flowers blossomed from their hidden roots
Revealing' a certain' beauty, reflecting' from this new land of distant truths
Imprints proved, the path has not risen…so molecules trapped the light
Water from the running river, passed the night, crashed & captured life.

    .........The beginning of the End....

From the sparkle in the Suns eyes, to the volcanos and trenches…
Through the seven sea's and mountains beauty cradled the essence,
Wind took sail and blessed it with its beautiful hymns, roots and limbs
Wrapped around evolution, sins…Humans, where confusion begins.
The sky gave an illusion of this. Comfort spoke through an optical joke.
Every positive obstacle arose. Roses spoke as the follicles broke
Molecules wrote patterns on top of two posts, and failed these trails…
Those’ve been written for centuries. Destiny eloped a male and female.
These multi celled organisms, with two legs, walk on land and water…
Eat other animals, from the trees, yet they float on sand and torture.
Land, and forced her to fall servant to abuse...cutting' trees, to build…
Destructing' beliefs but still, these animals seem to have a need to kill
With dreams to fill their own greed. Dig up the dirt make ya' own Seas
Focus solely on power, its Holy! …Drag the sky until its bones bleed
In years the stones speak, and they pass daggers through their skin,
What survives, matters on the wind, opening up…while the saga begins.

    What’s created, will eventually meta-morph to what is hated;
    What is patience? A creed of virtue, the suns winds patient;
    What was once strong will be weak...so what stood will fall;
    Those once dumb will think that they've understood it all;
    What was once beauty, will be ugly; Storms will be vacant;
    Form will be ancient, so the world will live along reformation;

The birth of A kingdom; Kings Of Greed,

Creation; swayed patiently. ancient seeds graced faithfully.
Pacing leaves, raised pagan trees, and belief aged gracefully.
The deceased paved tainted ease; to an end, curses and witches,
Verses with visions of multiple Gods and the birth of religion...
The first of the imprints, written down to bring control to slaves
Rage; Molded the Phrase. Of holy creatures Holdin' the graves
Within' their hands, to open a maze where the truth is feared
Proof Is there; But is hidden by death. By nine troops with spears
Fools are useless here. So the Peasants wander the Acropolis
With presents honoring a God of Myths. Ponderin' where prophets sit
By the gateways, as fate placed a name, of seven great plagues
That would graze humanity, with death; displayed in eight days
Rage slays the opposition. Power rises, everyone takes notice
Women, chained to a man...In this land, every son sways focus
While, A peasant’s child creates A locust and hides in the foliage…
As he dreams, of equality rising above greed....

Rodney's Phthisis - Distance of Detriment
    by Professor Frost

Life's a race & the intricate intersections are proof
Artwork covers the scape: God's sketches of truth
As humans we live in Fast Forward - yet a step from rewind
The gifts before us we decline until we accept - then we die
Communication was the basis of relations, check Genesis
Unification bridges the basics of stasis, respect is blended with-
Compassion - sympathy, empathy & love for thy enemy
Stairways to synthesis require us to rise to climb energy
Perceptions change, but one that doesn't are our visions of peace
But reality is skewed as a mirage resulting from collisions of heat
Started with 666 - the computer. The initiation of sinister pain
The internet was supposed to catch society, but distance remains
The distance is mixed in a global bridge, where the arches release-
And every unborn baby of this age shall now succumb to lethargic's defeat

    Meanwhile...
Rodney sat at the edge of his bed with his Aunt, beneath an eclipse
She kinetically knitted a story, starting from a piece of a stitch

"With my spiked feet to grind, I attempt to speak to your mind
What would you do right now, should you meet your demise?"

As the night crept into the deepest corners of the room
Shadows leaped from wall to floor; foreigners from a tomb
The baby blue blanket bestowed comfort to the child
But, the next stages of fear gave comfort an escort for a while

"This day, the honey bees dropped to the dirt
& the ozone layer screamed 'stop all the hurt!'
Trees rebelled & converted oxygen to carbon
C.I.A went to hieroglyphs to pretend to carve them
This day, Planet Earth's axis had stumbled in place
& a thousand asteroids began to pummel through space
Armageddon had settled in as angels descended & fell
& blood red demons escaped from the most relentless of Hell
This day, Final Fantasy's legacy had discontinued & scrapped-
All future projects. At every Gamestop, the venue was packed
Juicy J hosted a worldwide twerk tournament at the Pentagon
& the HOR & Senate realized the White House's rent was gone
This day, ashes collected into the depth of the stratosphere's wall
& a storm brewed by Zeus' fluid power that his tear's calmed
Every religion was denounced & anarchy had promoted the sins
& the Sun's polar magnetic fields shifted into the most controlling of winds
This day, every nuclear weapon had launched to erupt in the sky
& every computer screen we had faith in that said 'buffer', had lied
Albert Einstein rose from his grace with science to reveal the Mayans
& the vacuum of space picked up Earth's dust & sealed in some silence
This day, God punched through the layers of gravel & grain
He grasped the core in his hand as his fist traveled & aimed
Time ceased to exist as reality began to unwind in pastures
Clocks reversed order while these tragedies are lined with patterns
    -"

This day... you're chowing down on sodas & chips
Looking at ya pixel screen monitor with a focus of bliss
Cinematic animations noted a script & wrote with a clip
It's sad, if the world ended you wouldn't have noticed it did
You can text but the context is the Language of the Lost
Technology advances communication but anguish is the cost
You can waste money & material but time is irretrievable
Don't just roll up in a hearse & send words to be stuck in a verse
Leave the bull, inhale the vapors of existence & achieve a pull

    This day...?
Rodney's disease had dissipated, his mind tossed its patience
He extended his body's limits as his muscles tissue frothed with raises
Galloping, he ran to the window in his most steepest of step
Peeked & then left his window, to take his most deepest of breathe

New life begins at every ending

    Re: Nicasso vs Professer Frost

Nicasso, wow man this piece here from you was crazy, what stood out the most for me was the unbelievable flow multis on top of multis. Then I enjoyed the concept you went with. Overall I feel your drop was more enjoyable then Professor Frosts. Your usage of imagery was almost equal to your flow after re reading both drops you painted more of a mental picture than Frost I could see each thing taking place as if it was a movie wow mate very vividly strong drop. Complexity I feel you may edged it here also PF took a some what more conservative route while I feel you went for a tad bit more complexed approach and it showed in your drop.

Professor Frost, your drop was also good, it started a bit to slow but as I got into the piece it was almost coming to a end I feel with at least another 20 lines this could've been greatness. Also your flow was there but not as strongly as Nicassos was. At points I can tell you put focuses on this area then as you continued on you began to focus more on the story which took away from the flow. Don't get me wrong flow wise you were on point but Nic just edged you a tad bit. This was a big difference from the HoF piece I read from you I enjoyed the fact you gave us story to key in on but as stated I feel by time it picked up it was coming to a end.... Lmao that Juicy J line had me in tears. This was a neck and neck match up just feel he edged you in the areas that matter the most when in comes to s.s....

Vote/ Nicasso~ for a overall more enjoyable drop and the damn flow smh kudos to both

Okay firstly, holy damn that was a smooth read. Great imagry too. Along with that you held a solid message and great vocabulary, I was connecting with your messages too so thats a bonus. I personally cant really pick out too many bad bits, i didnt read anything i didnt like. I thought this was an awesome mental picture of how life came to be and destroyed life as it was. You had the metior crashing onto the land and spreading, starting fresh. Next was the nature of man and how were built on destruction, and then lastly a paragraph describing the actual situation and need to start fresh. Overall this was great storytelling. It flowed along very smoothly. Not a bit i didnt enjoy.

I think yours had the a more thought out message, well it seems like you tried to put more thought into it than nic. The flow of this was sweet too, another piece that made me want to keep reading. The flow wasnt as entising as nics was, though. That 2nd verse was pretty humorous, i read final fantasy n i was like, wha.. then i read on n was like ahh, haha. Throughout this there is great imagry and messages. Stronger messages than nics in some aspects. but the piece kind of lacked an overall meshing vibe that nics gave me.

I quite liked PFs but It also felt a lil detatched from each paragraph. I mean it connected nicely. I just felt that nics had the stronger overall feel of oneness, plus his messages were something that spoke to me stronger.

Re: Semi-Finals: Nicasso vs Professer Frost VOTING 1-0

Structure: neither really both were pretty poor.
Flow/rhyme scheme: I'm aiming more towards Nicasso though both could've been much better.
Vocab: Frost grabbed it by a fingertip.
Grammatical: neither, both were extremely poor. I mean, not ghetto, but still not great.
Storytelling: Frost. His seemed more complete. Nicasso kinda jumped around.
Emotion: neither really had much of an emotional impact.

Nicasso, could've been a lot better had you put more time and vised the story better. It was like watching Memento. Jumped from scene to scene instead of just playing through the storyline. The thing is, Christopher Nolan pulled it off, you didn't. I felt like the wording in some lines was awkward and made the flow choppy which your simple rhyme scheme also didn't help. Overall an okay read but not really my style or preference.

Frost had similar issues but stepped up from Nicasso a little with his storytelling. That's really all i can say seeing as what I can say to you I basically just said to Nicasso. Work on your wording and rhyme scheme. Keep up the storytelling though, it's cool.

    Vote frost.

Re: Semi-Finals: Nicasso vs Professer Frost VOTING 1-0

Wow great work from both I have no idea what the guy above me was reading but both of you guys came with it.

Nic-your rhyme scheme was Deffective better than frost the way you put words together to maintain a strong flow was fantastic my guy. Also the route you took I feel was a little bit more complex compared to frost so you edge him already in two critical areas in my voting process. And yours was more vivid than his you made the reader see what you were writing good shit.

Frost- you also did good to my guy I just feel nit edged you in a few areas that us readers enjoy. Yours had the stronger story but brutally honest that's it. Flow wise you did a good job but I feel it could have been better. But I do give you points for adding humor to your work. I feel you played it a tad bit safe with your approach but still did great just not enough to edge a win..

So I'm vote Nic I look forward to beating both of you next season lol.

And the guy above me is high if he didn't enjoy this

I agree with some of whats been said in the other votes, but for me, both lacked a real storyline, which should be the element the rest is built round in my eyes, they seemed to be more message based sorta thing, like a bit moralistic which I like if its revealed as part of the closure, but when its thread through I'm not so keen, anyways back to what I was gonna say... I thought the other aspects were pretty even across the two of them, 'bit of sloppy rhyming here and there, I'm gonna have to take it down to the concept/enjoyment factor, so... my votes going to...

    ...vote/frost

pretty close for judging, preference took it in the end

    Two great pieces here guys,,
nicasao had multi after multi one after another, big fan af this kindaa art from although you stuck with the topic it feels scattered and a little repetitive in some stanzas, but the whole concept was cool, great story telling,

frosts piece was a little indirect IMO didn't have the multiple rhythmic content i look for, but regardless still a solid drop,
for this reason nicasso gets my vote,, close battle guys

    vote nicasso
