Hey,
Can someone give me some names of some jazz performers? I listen to the older jazz, Miles, Ella... but I'm looking to hear some new stuff Maybe some jazz, with a hip hop type feel to it...?

The Marsalis brothers... and of course if you want "hip hop jazz" check out Jazzmatazz vol 1 - Guru+ a bunch of other people. Vol 1 is the most Jazz influenced but the rest of them are worth the listen also.
ArtificialIntelligence
TNL

I'm not that familiar with straight jazz from recent years, but since you asked for stuff with a strong hip-hop influence I'll recommend some somewhat relevant stuff. Try out Inspiration Information by Mulatu Astatke and the Heliocentrics:

Also be sure to check out the Heliocentrics on their own, and definitely check out Mulatu Astatke for a bit of ethio-jazz. Astatke has been making music for years but he's well worth discovering. Stuff like this is far too good to ignore:

If you're looking for some jazz-influenced type stuff that bangs, I sincerely recommend checking out the afro-beat genre. Actually, whatever you're after, be sure to start listening to afro-beat, and if you already listen to it, listen to more of it. Start with Fela Kuti and go from there.
yesterday's new quintet
the members are all made up pseudonyms, madlib does all the instrumentation
also his 'shades of blue' album.
