how do u make an audio?

but get cool edit

and go through your volume options and set up your microphone to record dont put the volume all the way loud tho but maybe middle jus to try it out


when u open cool edit ull see a "view" button up top right next to "file, options" so on an so on


hit that an go to multi track view..

ull see a bunch of tracks to the side (1, 2, 3, 4, and all that)

now test your mic

theres a red R on all of the tracks click it on one of them
this is where ur vocals will be "R"ecorded (lol)

now when u click it it should light up red but to start recording u have to hit that red dot alll the way at the bottom (itll look like a dvd/vcr button)


hit it an the recording begins, say a few things to check the volume of your mic

when ur done recording hit the stop button..next to the big red dot lol


if you want to record OVER (meaning to erase while making something new) your old verse

jus move the cursor back to the begining and hit the big red dot at the bottom again



now if the testing works and u want to try it with the beat

look to the left ull see a lil button that looks like a folder or something
when u hit it ur files will open up

browse through til u find the beat youd like to use then click it an hit okay (or "open")

now ull see it added to the list on the left side

click it and draaaaag it onto one of the channels (but not the channel with your verse on it!)

now u might need to right click (and hold) it to move it to the very begining so do that if you must


now test it out again hit the red dot an start recording over the beat

if the beat is too loud u can right click the lil area where the big red R is (but dont click it lol) an a lil volume thing will pop up

u can do this for ur verses volume too if u need to


now when ur done

hit "File" up top
then hit


Save Mixdown As

then save it as an mp3


for example
newsong.mp3

now upload it to soundclick.
